Students focus on Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening skills through our English program. We explicitly teach spelling based on Words Their Way. We use a blended approach that best fits the individual needs of our students, this includes phonological and phonemic awareness, vocabulary building, development of comprehension strategies and the use of quality mentor texts. Students also borrow books each week from our school library.
